Ocean Avenue Releases a Full Slate of Films in December
December 2016 has been a full month for Ocean Avenue Entertainment with 4 films released on Netflix and another released on DVD in the Christian retail market. Beginning on December 1, 2016, "Wildflower" premiered on Netflix in North and South America, UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. Then on December 15 another 3 films premiered on Netflix, "Christmas in the Smokies", "Savannah Sunrise" and "The Christmas Project". Then today, December 20 marks the DVD release of the football movie, "Greater" into the Christian retail market through Ocean Avenue.
"This has been a banner month and year for our company," says Chris Bueno, CEO of Ocean Avenue Entertainment. "We've already released a number of films this year on Netflix beginning with "23 Blast" and including the first ever global premier of a faith-based film on Netflix, "In-Lawfully Yours." Plus we have a number of films set for release next year.
The DVD release of "Greater" this month is a significant expansion into the retail marketplace to better help producers optimize their revenue potential into this brick and mortar business. Then early next year there are additional films set for release that will benefit from a full distribution strategy beginning with a digital release, retail DVD into the general and Christian markets and then culminating with the premier on Netflix.
